Yes, any computer, PC or MAC as long as it is connected to the internet is all that is required.

What can I put on our website?
Practically anything as it is managed by you. Pages and pages of text can be daunting – your tutor will show you how to keep things simple and add photos and even video clips of anything from school trips and awards to films made by the pupils themselves.

What timings are we talking about?
Your tutor will arrive at 9am and complete training at 4pm. Within 24 hours of beginning training, YourSchoolSite will be live.

How do others learn to update the site?
Our tutor makes things so simple and intuitive, by the end of the training day, you will be qualified and confident enough to show others, including teachers, parents and pupils, how to create pages and contribute. Plus, you always have Total Support at hand.

How quickly can I update my website?
Instantly is the short answer. You can make changes, additions and improvements to YourSchoolSite and refresh it immediately. You can do this from any computer with internet access, anywhere.

Will my local Education Authority approve?
Most LEAs actively encourage their schools to take the initiative to create their own website. It instils ownership and creates an interactive hub.

Are there any hidden costs?
No. We have a clear and simple pricing structure. There is an all-inclusive single cost which includes the Training Day, 12 months’ hosting, domain name registration and Total Support. There is an annual Total Support fee for subsequent years. An additional travel expense may be incurred depending upon your school’s location.

What happens if I have a problem?
Total Support means just that. Either call or email us and a YourSchoolSite tutor will sort the problem. They will talk you through every step, in language you can understand.
